Adam Frisch, the Democratic candidate who came very close to defeating Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) in the 2022 midterm election will try to unseat her again in 2024.
“Lauren Boebert is everything that’s wrong with Congress. She is an election denier that encouraged the attack on the Capitol and wants to make all abortion illegal even for rape and incest,” Frisch said in a video on Tuesday.
“She’s part of the anger-tainment circus that’s tearing our country apart,” he added. “I’ll put Colorado first — Colorado energy, Colorado water and Colorado jobs.”
The race between Frisch and Boebert was unexpectedly close in November. Boebert won the contest by 546 votes or 0.16 percentage points.
The margin triggered an automatic recount in accordance with state law. However, Frisch conceded the race before the recount was complete saying that it was unlikely to change the outcome of the election.
