Donald Trump will self quarantine with Melania Trump after media reports that close aide Hope Hicks has tested positive for the coronavirus.
“Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible!”, Trump tweeted on Thursday. “The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!”
Hicks traveled with Trump on Air Force One to and from the presidential debates in Ohio on Tuesday and accompanied him to a campaign rally in Minnesota on Wednesday.
This is notable, Trump never went into quarantine when others in his inner circle tested positive for coronavirus.
