An official from the General Services Administration (GSA) will brief Congressional committees next week, November 30 on the presidential transition, The Hill reports.
That official is not expected to be Emily Murphy, instead it’ll be her deputy Allison Brigati.

Brigati, will provide a 30-minute briefing to House committee chairs and ranking Republican members. She will also brief staff on the Senate Appropriations, Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and Environment and Public Works committees. Staffers from the House Appropriations and Oversight committees are invited to attend the Senate briefing, the Hill reports.
Last week, the House Oversight and Appropriations committees sent a letter to Murphy demanding a briefing by Monday to explain why she had not ascertained Biden’s victory and unlock federal resources to begin the transition.
