Jenna Ellis says FBI searched Mar-a-Lago because Cheney lost her primary.

Former Trump campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis barred from practicing law in Colorado for three years.

Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis said the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago to retrieve classified documents because Rep. Liz Cheney lost her primary election to a candidate endorsed by the former president.

“This is yet another next thing in the line of what the Democrats are targeting President Trump with,” Ellis said on Newsmax. “Look, we’re not hearing anything about January 6th anymore. The timing of this is so suspicious because right after Liz Cheney loses her primary, and everything about the January 6th Committee is going away, now this raid happens.”

The FBI executed the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago on Aug. 8th more than a week before Cheney, the vice chair of the Jan. 6th committee, lost the Aug. 16th Wyoming GOP primary to Trump-backed Harriet Hageman.
