Joe Biden is the 46th president of the United States beating incumbent president Donald Trump.
Biden surpassed 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency by rebuilding the blue wall in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
His vice–presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris made history as the first female, black and Asian American to be elected vice-president.
He’s also leading Donald Trump by 4 million votes in the popular vote contest. That is likely to grow as votes are still being counted in a number of huge blue states as well as in Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
Donald Trump now becomes the 13th President to lose re-election and the fourth incumbent president to lose re-election since the end of World War II.
