U.S. Attorney Donald Cochran officially identified 63 year-old Anthony Q. Warner as the suspect in the Nashville Christmas Day bombing. He also said Warner died in the blast.
“Anthony Warner is the bomber. He was present when the bomb went off, and he perished in the bombing,” Cochran said.
Investigators were able to match DNA found at the scene to a sample a taken from another location.
Officials are still investigating the types of explosives used in the bombing as well as Warner’s motives for carrying out the act.
