President-elect Joe Biden will be examined by an orthopedist after he slipped and twisted his ankle while playing with Major on Saturday.
The transition team said the president-elect will be examined by the specialist on Sunday afternoon out of an abundance of caution.
According to a statement from his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, President-elect Biden sustained a sprain of his right foot. Initial X-Rays show no obvious fracture. Biden will be receiving a CT scan for further review.
According to the Associated Press, Biden was visibly limping as he left the doctor’s office though he walked without a crutch or other aid.
