Trump demands Georgia Secretary of State "find" votes to overturn election in leaked phone call.

Donald Trump demanded that the Republican Secretary of State of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger find the votes to overturn Biden’s victory in the state and warned him that he was taking a big risk if he does not comply with his wishes, according to a leaked audio of an hour long phone call on Saturday night, reported by The Washington Post.

“So look. All I want to do is this – I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state,’ Trump said. “It’s pretty clear that we won. We won pretty substantially. And you even see it by rally size.”

He also insisted: “There’s no way I lost Georgia. There’s no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.”

Throughout the conversation a desperate Donald Trump was urging the SoS to pretty much do anything to overturn Biden’s victory in the state.

“The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” Trump said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.’

Raffensperger pushed back at this telling Trump :”Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.”

Toward the end of the conversation Raffensperger told Trump that he’s relying on debunked conspiracy theories about the election.

“Mr. President, the problem you have with social media is that people can say anything.”

“No, this isn’t social media. This is Trump media,” Trump responded. “You should want to have an accurate election and you’re a Republican.”

Raffensperger reiterated Georgia had a fair and accurate election.

“No you don’t. No. No you don’t. You don’t have it — not even close,” Trump responded.

Trump also lashed out at the state’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp for not stepping him on his behalf, saying “I can’t imagine he’s ever getting elected again.”

Trump acknowledged the call on Twitter Sunday writing: “I spoke to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger yesterday about Fulton County and voter fraud in Georgia. He was unwilling, or unable, to answer questions such as the “ballots under table” scam, ballot destruction, out of state “voters”, dead voters, and more. He has no clue!”

Biden won the state by more than 11,779 votes, becoming the first democratic candidate for president to do so since 1992.
