Former President Donald Trump reportedly joked about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine saying the US should get involved by putting the Chinese flag on F-22 fighter jets and “bomb the shit” out of Russia and blame China.

“The U.S. should put the Chinese flag on F-22 fighter jets and bomb the shit out of Russia, Trump told top RNC donors at a retreat in New Orleans on Saturday.

“And then we say, China did it,” he added. “Then they start fighting with each other, and we sit back and watch.”

Trump was criticised last month for calling Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plan to invade Ukraine “savvy” and “genius”.

He changed his tone when the Ukrainian people resisted the Russian army, calling the conflict “a Holocaust” during an interview with Fox News.
