An attorney defending former President Donald Trump against charges handed down by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, donated to the prosecutor’s campaign in 2020.
Attorney Drew Findling, who is no stranger to supporting Democratic causes, donated $1400 to Willis’ primary campaign in 2020, according to Federal Election Commission documents seen by Rolling Stone.
Findling joined Trump’s legal last year and is one of the lead attorneys fighting RICO charges handed down by Willis.
A Georgia grand jury indicted Trump on Monday, charging him with felony racketeering and several conspiracy counts as part after Willis’ two-year long investigation into the effort by him and his allies to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state.
