The Alabama Republican Party on Saturday presented Donald Trump with a framed copy of a resolution, that declares him to be “one of the greatest and most effective presidents” the country has ever seen in its 245-year history.
“The resolution, basically, it just talks about the greatness of Donald J. Trump, how he made America great again and I hope other states will follow suit,” Perry Hooper Jr., a former state representative and a member of the state party’s executive committee, said.
The resolution which passed unanimously in the party, lists Operation Warp Speed, tax cuts, his withdrawal from TPP, NAFTA ,the “job killing” Paris Climate Agreement, and appointing “three constitutionally conservative judges”, as accomplishments worthy of the honor.
And, just to make Trump feel better about himself, the resolution bashed President Biden, claiming, “President Trump accomplished more in 48 days than Joe Biden did in 48 years as a senator and vice president.”
