Donald and Melania Trump test positive for coronavirus.

Donald Trump confirmed in a tweet on Thursday night that he and Melania Trump have tested positive for coronavirus.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” Trump tweeted. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

The news of the Trumps positive diagnosis came hours after news reports that close adviser Hope Hicks test positive for COVID-19.

Based on CDC guidelines, Trumps age and weight puts him at a higher risk of becoming severely ill from the virus.

CDC guidelines also states that anybody who was within six feet of Donald Trump should quarantine for 14 days.
