Giuliani served with indictment notice during his birthday party in Florida.

Donald Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani was served with the indictment notice related to an alleged scheme to overturn the 2020 election in Arizona during his 80th birthday party in Palm Beach, Florida on Friday.

Two officials with Arizona’s attorney general’s office arrived at the party around 11 p.m to serve Giuliani with the felony indictment over his role in the fake electors’ plot to overturn the results of the election, according to the New York Post.

Guests had just finished singing ‘happy birthday’ when he was served and sources told the Post that some partygoers started screaming and one woman even cried during the ordeal.

Giuliani reportedly left the party after he was served with the indictment notice.

“It’s unfortunate that they chose to barge up and startle guests during a celebration of this man’s 80th birthday,” Giuliani’s political consultant Ted Goodman told The Post.

“They could’ve shown a little more respect for the man who comforted the nation following September 11th and who stands up for law enforcement and the men and women in blue,” he added.

Giuliani is among the 18 people charged in Arizona over their alleged attempt to use alternate electors after the 2020 presidential election as part of a wider conspiracy to falsely declare then-President Donald Trump as the winner of the state despite his loss to Biden.

All 18 are charged with felony offenses including fraud, forgery, and conspiracy.

“In Arizona, and the United States, the people elected Joseph Biden as President on November 3, 2020,” the indictment reads. “Unwilling to accept this fact, Defendants and unindicted coconspirators schemed to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency to keep Unindicted Coconspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona’s voters.”

Trump was not charged but the indictment suggests that he is “Unindicted co-conspirator 1.”

Before Friday, prosecutors in Arizona have tried for weeks, and failed locate Giuliani to serve him the notice of his indictment.
