Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert’s behavior at a glitzy Republican gala last year was so disturbing that she was cut off from alcohol at the event.
At the New York Young Republican Club’s annual gala in December a server told Boebert they would not bring her any more alcohol because she had been “overserved,” several witnesses told CNN.
Witnesses say Boebert also tried to snap selfies with Donald Trump who was seated at her table resulting in the former president’s security detail stepping in and asking her to stop.
The incident took place months after Boebert was kicked out of a theater in Denver during a performance of the musical Beetlejuice for “causing a disturbance.”
Surveillance video from inside the theater shows the congresswoman vaping and groping her date.
Boebert is facing a competitive GOP primary election in Colorado’s 4th congressional district.
She currently represents Colorado’s 3rd district but after narrowly winning election in 2022, Boebert switched to the more GOP friendly 4th district.
Despite Boebert’s antics in December, Trump endorsed her last month, saying she is a “proven conservative” and a “trusted America First Fighter.”
