Judge overseeing Trump's NY fraud trial evacuated after man starts fire outside courtroom.

New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing the civil fraud case against Donald Trump, was evacuated hours after testimony ended on Wednesday after a small fire was set outside the courtroom, according to Business Insider.

Four hours after testimony ended, a man started a small fire by igniting some documents outside the courtroom, then proceeded to use multiple fire extinguishers to put out the blaze, two sources familiar with the matter told the outlet. It’s not clear why the man started the fire in the first place.

Judge Engoron was reportedly in his robing room when he heard shouting and was safely evacuated from the building along with other staff members on the fourth floor, according to Business Insider.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Engoron and other staffers were allowed to enter the building around 5 p.m to collect their belongings.

The man who started the fire was arrested. Officials haven’t identify him as yet, but sources told the outlet he is not a court employee.
