Republican Sen. Mitt Romney was confronted by supporters of Donald Trump at an airport in Salt Lake City and on a flight to D.C. on Tuesday for refusing to support Donald Trump and his attempts to overturn the election.
“Please put your mask on,” Romney said as the woman approached him.

The woman initially refused telling Romney “don’t tell me what to do”. Ultimately she complied because wanted to “have a chat” with the senator.
The woman asked about his lack of support for Trump especially with his attempt to overturn the results of the election in Congress.
“It’s a long story, but we have a Constitution and the constitutional process is clear, and I will follow the Constitution, and then I will explain all that when we meet in Congress,” Romney explained.

She was also not pleased with the senator for refusing to endorse Trump in the 2020 election. “You were voted in to represent us, you work for us,” she says.
“I work for the people of Utah,” Romney replied before gathering his belongings and attempting to walk away. But, she followed him hurling insults.
“You’re a joke,” she says “an absolute joke. It’s a disgusting shame.”

Another video shared on Twitter of the flight from Salt Lake City to D.C shows Trump supporters chanting “traitor” and calling for him to resign.
