A Republican state lawmaker in Mississippi would rather see his state “succeed from the union” instead of being governed by Joe Biden, The Washington Post reports.
Rep. Price Wallace made the comment while responding to a Twitter thread from a Republican colleague in the state House calling for all legal votes to be counted.
“We need to succeed from the union and form our own country,” Wallace said.
Wallace’s tweet has since been deleted. He also made his page private.
