Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was booed and heckled while attending a baseball game at the Yankee stadium in New York Sunday evening.
Cruz reportedly sat behind home plate in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Yankees and Houston Astros and was heckled by fans throughout the night.
In one video posted to social media Cruz was seen attempting to leave Yankee Stadium where he was met with boos and fans calling him a “fucking loser” a “racist piece of shit” and telling him to “go back to Cancun.”
Another photo from the game shows multiple people raising their middle finger at Cruz as he tries to wave to the crowd.
