Trump forgets what year he left office on the witness stand.

Former judge calls for Trump to be put 'in a jail cell' when he violates gag order.

Donald Trump seemed to forget what years he was in the White House in court on Monday.

Trump took the stand in the $250 million civil fraud case brought against his family business by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

James accused the Trump family business of falsely inflated and deflated the value of its assets to receive lower taxes and better insurance coverage.

Trump feigned ignorance in court, suggesting he had no idea what was going on in his company’s financial statements because he was too busy being commander-in-chief in 2021.

“Did you get copies of the statements in 2021?,” the state’s lawyer Kevin Wallace asked Trump.

“I was so busy in the White House with China, Russia, and keeping the country safe,” Trump responded.

“And just to refresh your recollection, you were not president in 2021?” Wallace asks.

“No I wasn’t,” Trump responded.
