Donald Trump won’t be getting another invitation to Davos, the gathering of power brokers in the Swiss Alps every year.
Founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, told the newspaper NZZ am Sonntag that while he does not regret inviting Trump last year, he probably will not extend another invitation to him in the future.
“I’d have to go into a quiet room and think about it. If I came out, the answer would probably be ‘no,’” Schwab said when asked about any future Trump invite.

This year’s in-person meeting has been postponed until May in Singapore, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Schwab is hoping that President Biden will be in attendance at this year’s event or the usual gathering in Davos next January.
“The forum doesn’t invite individual personalities but tries to enable decision-makers to participate in a representative manner in Davos,” he said. “We invite the U.S. president because he’s undoubtedly one of the determining personalities in the world.”
