Lara Trump blames ‘deep state’ for Trump-Musk glitch-filled X livestream.

Lara Trump is already calling the debates 'rigged'

Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump blamed the ‘deep state’ for technical issues during Donald Trump’s interview on X with the platform’s owner Elon Musk.

In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity Monday night, Trump suggested that the technical issues are part of a broader conspiracy to keep her father-in-law out of the White House.

“I think it’s pretty obvious at this point, there are a lot of people out there and there’s a massive effort, of course, to keep Donald Trump out of the White House. These people are terrified. This is the deep state. This is the swamp in Washington, D.C.,” Trump told Hannity after he claim ‘they’ went after Musk, according to a clip highlighted by Mediaite.

“These are the people who are our adversaries in many cases, they know that the jig is up, the game is over when Donald J. Trump returns to the White House and they are petrified of it, Trump continued.

“Donald Trump is the only person who can deliver this country back to ‘we, the people’ – the only person who can make sure that the world is stabilized once again,” she added. “And there are, I assume, Sean, a lot of people out there who don’t want to see that happen for really awful reasons, quite frankly.”

Musk blamed the technical problems on a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack, and suggested that it was a deliberate attempt to stop people from “just hearing what President Trump has to say.”

However, X staffers told The Verge that there was a “’99 percent’ chance Elon was lying about an attack.”

Another staffer told the outlet that the technical malfunction was not due to a DDOS attack, noting that the rest of X appeared to functioning while the livestream crashed.
