Michael Flynn’s brother and sister-in-law filed a $75 million defamation lawsuit against CNN on Thursday, according to the Daily Beast, citing court documents.
Jack and Leslie Flynn, claim CNN falsely portrayed them as followers of QAnon in their “CNN Goes Inside A Gathering Of QANON Followers” documentary.
The segment which showed meetings of QAnon supporters briefly showed videos tweeted by Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn July 4th gathering with is family. The video shows the Flynn family reciting a pledge to the U.S. constitution and end it with “Where we go one, we go all, ” a popular slogan among followers of QAnon that is often times abbreviated WWG1WGA.
Jack and Leslie argued that the slogan has nothing to do with the movement and they are “not followers or supporters of any extremist or terrorist groups, including QAnon.”
