Former President Barack Obama’s brutal profanity-laced takedowns of Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr during the COVID pandemic were revealed in Dr. Anthony Fauci’s recently released diary.

In a Nov. 2021 diary entry, Fauci, who was then director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Biden White House’s chief medical adviser, described a 25-minute call he had with Obama in which the former president offered his support as Fauci described facing attacks from the far right, including from Trump Jr. who was selling merch on his website featuring slogans like “Fauci kills puppies.”

The puppy controversy is tied to misleading claims about National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases-funded research involving beagles.

Obama said that Donald Trump junior is “A f****** moron. He apologized for using crude language but then went on to say that Donald Trump was a hopeless idiot who was a pathologic liar,” Fauci wrote.

Obama also expressed frustration over the fact that moderate Republicans were not defending Fauci from attacks coming from inside their party.

“He [Obama] was very upset that none of the moderate Republicans were actually speaking out on my behalf and were distancing themselves from all of this terrible, slanderous behavior against me,” Fauci wrote.

“It was a great conversation that lasted for 25 minutes, and he said that if he hears anything about movement in this direction, he will get back to me. It indeed was an incredibly memorable phone call,” the doctor concluded.
