New Yorker writer Luke Mogelson, filmed Donald Trump supporters during the January 6 riots storming the Senate floor and claiming that Texas senator Ted Cruz would want them to do it.
In the video, a group of insurrectionists were seen rifling though documents left behind by lawmakers as they rush to a more secure location in the Capitol.

“There’s gotta be something here we can use against these fucking scumbags,”one man said as he skipped through a document while holding his cell phone with a camera in his hand. ” This is a good one,” he added, singling out a sheet of paper from the file.
“I think Cruz would want us to to do this,” another man said. “So, I think we’re good.”
