Trump backs out of testifying in New York fraud trial.

Axelrod: Donald Trump’s “life is flashing before his eyes.”

Donald Trump has decided to not take the stand after all in his $250 million fraud case in New York..

The former president made the announcement Sunday afternoon in an all caps rant on his Truth Social account.

“As everyone knows, I have very successfully & conclusively testified in the corrupt, Biden directed, New York state attorney general’s rigged trial against me,” Trump wrote.

“Based on the above, and the fact that our unassailable final expert witness has been so strong and irrefutable in his testimony, which will conclude on Tuesday, & that I have already testified to everything & have nothing more to say other than that this is a complete & total election interference (Biden campaign!) witch hunt, that will do nothing but keep businesses out of New York, I will not be testifying on Monday,” he added.

New York Attorney General Letitia James brought the $250 million lawsuit accusing the Trump family business of falsely inflated and deflated the value of its assets to receive lower taxes and better insurance coverage.

Judge Arthur Engoron already found Trump, his sons Don Jr. and Eric and their companies liable for fraud, a fact James reiterated in her statement on Sunday after Trump revealed he will not take the stand.

“Donald Trump already testified in our financial fraud case against him. Whether or not Trump testifies again tomorrow, we have already proven that he committed years of financial fraud and unjustly enriched himself and his family. No matter how much he tries to distract from reality, the facts don’t lie,” James said.
