Donald Trump has spent Memorial Day so far railing against his investigations and the judges overseeing them in rants posted on his Truth Social site.
In one post Trump, a five time draft dodger, attacked Judge Arthur Engoron, who presided over his civil fraud trial, and Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over his ongoing hush money trial. He also took shots at columnist E. Jean Carroll who was awarded $83.3 million in damages by a jury at a defamation trial in New York earlier this year.
Memorial Day, is usually observed on the last Monday in May, and “is an annual day of remembrance to honor all those who died in service to the U.S. during peacetime and war,” according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
Trump has a history of using holiday messages to attack his perceived enemies.
On Christmas he sent a message telling his enemies to “ROT IN HELL.”
