Trump urges Congress to withhold aid to Ukraine until the Biden administration cooperates with their investigations.

Donald Trump is calling on congressional Republicans to pause all U.S. military support for Ukraine until federal agencies provide “every scrap” of evidence they have on President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

“Congress should refuse to authorize a single additional shipment of our depleted weapons stockpiles … to Ukraine until the FBI, DOJ and IRS hand over every scrap of evidence they have on the Biden Crime Family’s corrupt business dealings,” Trump said at his rally in Erie, Pa., on Saturday, according to the Washington Post.

Trump’s first impeachment in 2019 was due to a phone call in which he pressured Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky to open politically motivated investigations into the Bidens ahead of the 2020 election.

Republicans in Congress are investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and whether they influenced Joe Biden’s decisions when he served as vice-president during the Obama administration.

Last week Republicans released an unclassified FBI memo with unverified information about Hunter Biden which they say support their theory of a scheme to bribe then-VP Biden to get a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company with Hunter on its board, fired.

Despite the information being unverified and top Republicans admitting that they cannot confirm whether the information is true, the release of the memo has revived debunked claims of wrongdoing among Republicans, including Trump. The former president went as far as threatening to primary any Republican who isn’t on board with investigating what he sees as “Democrat fraud.”
