Gas station worker’s skull fractured by customer after he asked him to social distance.

During the peak of the coronavirus outbreak in New York back in April, 41 year-old Hiram Vega allegedly beat a 67-year-old gas station employee for simply asking him to practice social distancing.

Police say Vega was paying for his purchace with a $10 bill when the employee asked him to keep a social distance. Vega responded by retrieving a metal bar from his car which he used to beat the 67-year-old worker, fracturing his skull.

Vega was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault on Friday according to Pix 11.
