Trump calls Nikki Haley ‘birdbrain’ after debate, says he will never choose her as his running mate.

Haley on whether Trump has a problem with women who challenge him: He was "very respectful" to me.

Donald Trump called Nikki Haley a “birdbrain” after the second GOP presidential debate and said he will never pick her to be his running mate in 2024.

In a post in his Truth Social app, Trump said neither him nor his supporters “will never go for Birdbrain Nikki Haley.”

“No loyalty, plenty of lies! ‘I will never run against our great President,’ she said, ‘he has done an outstanding job.’ To which I responded,’How nice of you to say, Nikki,’ knowing full well that her words mean nothing,” Trump continued.

“She even came to Mar-a-Lago with her family, “bearing gifts.” Anyway, Birdbrain doesn’t have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he said.

Trump’s post comes after Haley criticized him on the GOP presidential debate Wednesday for only focusing on China’s trade relations while ignoring the role the Chinese played in other aspects like fentanyl being shipped into the US.

“This is where President Trump went wrong. He focused on trade with China. He didn’t focus on the fact that they were buying up our farmland. He didn’t focus on the fact that they were killing Americans,” Haley said

“He didn’t focus on the fact that they were stealing $600 billion in intellectual property. He didn’t focus on the fact that they put a spy base off our shores in Cuba,” she continued. “They didn’t focus enough on the fact that all of our law enforcement drones in America are Chinese, and we’ve got all these little surveillance cells.”

After Wednesday night’s debate, the Trump campaign attacked Haley with a decade old quote about her being inspired by Hillary Clinton to run for office and her support for additional aid to Ukraine as the country fight against the invading Russian army.
