Failed far-right GOP House candidate Laura Loomer is threatening to never vote again and use her platform to “make sure millions” of other Republicans do the same if Donald Trump is removed from the ballot.
“If President Trump is removed from ballots & they prevent him from being the nominee, I’ll never vote in another election ever again and I will use my platform & my lists to make sure millions of other republicans don’t vote either,” Loomer wrote on X/Twitter. “I will only vote for Donald Trump.”
Loomer, a self-described ‘proud Islamophobe’ and staunch supporter of Donald Trump, lost her GOP primary House race in Florida in 2022 and refused to concede, falsely blaming her defeat on widespread fraud.
Trump has been disqualified from appearing on the ballot in Maine and Colorado so far. Trump’s legal team will appeal the Colorado ruling to the Supreme Court and also likely appeal the Maine decision to Maine’s Superior Court. State law says the Superior Court must make a decision within 20 days after the date of the secretary of state’s decision disqualifying Trump from the ballot.
Trump also faces similar challenges to remove him from the ballot in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, New York, and Texas.
Republicans have criticized the rulings that disqualify the former president from appearing on the ballot, but none have threatened to not vote in future elections.
