Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) trolled indicted Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J) on Monday with a cameo video from disgraced, expelled GOP Rep. George Santos.
“I thought my ethically-challenged colleague @BobMenendezNJ could use some encouragement given his substantial legal problems,” Fetterman wrote in a post on Twitter. “So, I approached a seasoned expert on the matter to give ‘Bobby from Jersey’ some advice.”
Fetterman’s post was accompanied by a Cameo video from Santos, in which the disgraced former lawmaker said: “Hey Bobby, look I don’t need to tell you but these people that want to make you get in trouble and want to kick you out and make you run away, you make ’em put up or shut up. You stand your ground, sir.”
“And don’t get bogged down by all the haters out there,” Santos continued. “Stay strong. Merry Christmas.”
Santos launched a profile on Cameo earlier on Monday, charging fans $200 to request holiday messages and birthday wishes, or they can ask him for gossip, advice, a pep talk or have him roast someone.
Sen. Menendez has been indicted on bribery and corruption charges, but has been ignoring calls to resign.
