Kamala Harris draws massive crowd for closing argument speech at the Ellipse.

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris drew a massive crowd on Tuesday for her closing argument to voters at The Ellipse.

According to the Harris campaign more than 75,000 people were in attendance for her speech.

“OVER 75,000 people on the National Mall to watch Kamala Harris deliver her closing remarks,” Harris campaign rapid response director, Ammar Moussa wrote on X. “Here. We. Go.”

CNN also reported that The Ellipse was filled to capacity and some guests were directed to an overflow area.

Harris’ speech comes exactly one week before Election Day and days after Donald Trump’s closing arguments at Madison Square Garden on Sunday that received backlash for racist and bigoted comments.

Harris’ rally was held at the same site where Trump encouraged his supporters to march to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 and “fight like hell” to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The estimated number from the Harris campaign means more people were at the Ellipse to hear Harris’ closing message compared to Trump’s speech that incited a mob of his supporters to storm the US Capitol.

According to the House Jan. 6 select Committee 53,000 people attended the former president’s “Stop the Steal” rally.

Before the massive audience Tuesday, Harris draw a contrast between her vision for the country’s future and Trump’s.

“Donald Trump has spent a decade trying to keep the American people divided and afraid of each other. That’s who he is,” she said. “But America, I am here tonight to say that’s not who we are.”

“We have to stop pointing fingers and start locking arms. It is time to turn the page on the drama and the conflict, the fear and division. It is time for a new generation of leadership in America,” she continued.

“America, we know what Donald Trump has in mind. More chaos. More division. And policies that help those at the very top and hurt everyone else. I offer a different path. And I ask for your vote,” Harris added.
