Lindsey Graham told Georgia grand jury that Trump would have believed “aliens came down” and stole his ballots.

Lindsey Graham booed at Trump rally in South Carolina.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C) told a grand jury that former President Donald Trump was so desperate to explain his loss in the 2020 election that he would have believed aliens stole his ballots.

Graham made the comment under oath before the Georgia grand jury investigating Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the election in the state.

“[Graham] said that during that time, if somebody had told Trump that aliens came down and stole Trump ballots, that Trump would’ve believed it,” one juror told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis opened the investigation into efforts to overturn the election after Trump’s infamous phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asking him to “find” 11,780 votes needed to beat Joe Biden in Georgia in the 2020 election.

Graham received a subpoena to testify in the probe about his own phone call to Raffensperger 10 days after the Nov. 3 election.

The partial grand jury report released last month recommends that perjury charges be brought against some witnesses that testified under oath in the investigation.
