Thousands of MAGA supporters have already signaled that they plan to attend a virtual inauguration for Donald Trump held on the same day as President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The “Donald J. Trump 2nd Presidential Inauguration Ceremony” is slated to begin at 12 pm EST on January 20 and will be hosted by Ilir Chami and Evi Kokalari, who was part of Trump’s 2020 campaign and regularly appears on right-leaning news networks such as One America News Network.

So far, more than 325,000 people have shown interest in attending the event and more than 60,000 say they are definitely going.

Facebook added a disclaimer to the event’s page that reads, “Joe Biden is the President-elect. He will be inaugurated as the 46th US President on January 20, 2021.”

More than a month after the election was called for Biden and a little over a week since the electoral college affirmed his victory, Donald Trump is still refusing to concede the election. Instead, he’s been listening to a fringe group of advisers discussing dubious ways to overturn the election after all his legal attempts to do so were thrown out of court.
