Musk slammed for controversial statement after Trump’s assassination attempt.

Musk staffer says there is a “99 percent” chance he is lying about DDOS attack delaying X spaces interview with Trump.

Elon Musk is once again under fire over controversial comments he made on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

On Sunday, Donald Trump’s Secret Service detail fired at a man who was reportedly spotted hiding on the former president’s golf course behind a bush with an AK-47 rifle.

The man was detained by Florida authorities in relation to the potential assassination attempt and has been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58.

In response to a possible second assassination attempt against Trump, Musk questioned why no one has tried to assassinate President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris.

“And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” Musk wrote in response to a user name Doge Designer who asked on X, “Why they want to kill Donald Trump?”

The backlash was swift. Several X users called for Musk’s government contracts to be revoked while others tagged the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI.
